Promising newcomer John Lynn has been making waves in his native Ireland for some time, and is now busy building his reputation as a first-class International act.
With an easy-going charm and natural stage presence, John did very well, very quickly, and early in his career, was invited to join Irish superstar Tommy Tiernan as a special guest at Dublin's famed Vicar St venue.
Encouraged by his early achievements, John decided to take the plunge, and gave up his day job as a secondary school teacher to pursue his dream of global stardom. He began training for the screen with the Irish Films Actors Studio, and began working full time both as an actor and stand-up.
Further cementing his status as a promising talent, he has been invited to perform at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs festival. He has also played in America, Europe and the Middle East, and is a regular at the Kilkenny Cats festival.
He is now a sought after performer at all the major clubs across the UK, and regularly plays The Comedy Store.
John is busy working on new material for a show at next year's Edinburgh Festival as well as being in the process of completing his first novel, having gained acceptance to a coveted creative writing MA program.
He misses the children who abused him each and every day of his teaching career. Sometimes.
