Bennett is the only Jewish/Welsh Comedian on the comedy circuit. His humour is a cross between the paranoid angst of Max Boyce and the colloquial valley humour of Woody Allen.
He recently played the lead in his own sitcom script which was performed at the Riverside Studios and which has now gone into development with Hartswood Films.
His television performing credits include; Net.Comedy for Carlton, Gas for Channel 4, Stop The World and The Wrap for BBC Choice, and Why Did the Chicken? for HTV and he recently wrote and performed in Large, a satirical sketch show for BBC Wales.
Bennett is a past winner of both the TAPS Comedy Writer of the Year Award and the BBC Wales New Writer's Award, and he is a past finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards.
However his proudest moment was coming third in the 1982 Boy Scout Disco Dancing Championship.
