Since re-discovering her childhood miniature novelty Yamaha Portasound PSS-149 keyboard in her parent’s attic in late 2018, lovingly scraping battery acid out of its every orifice, and attaching a trademarked Keyboard Stability System (strap), Catherine has taken it upon herself to visit as many North West comedy nights as possible accompanied by this versatile and (crucially) lightweight instrument. Having won the 25th Anniversary of Beat the Frog at the Frog and Bucket, Manchester on her 7th gig in February 2019, Catherine continues to perform a blend of songs and corporate training tackling the big issues from a thought provoking ballad on the perils of multi-format printing to musical advice on how to achieve domestic bliss in small, confined spaces to audiences. Expect a sonic whirlwind of synthesised anxiety dreams.
